Dona Rosita's Jalapeno Kitchen
Written by Rodrigo Duarte-Clark (Artistic Director/Playwright of El Teatro de la Esperanza, San Francisco,Ca.) This one-woman show is deliciously comic and peppered with the poignancy of cultural pride.

Rosita's Day of the Dead
The story opens in the kitchen of Dona Rosita, who is preparing food for El Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Actress Perez depicts a wide range of characters, many of whom cajole and entreat Rosita to reconcile with her dying father.

A Woman's Work
Created in 1985 and written by Ruby Nelda and various Latina writers, this show established her as a nationally acclaimed solo performer. Through the use of poems, folktales, monologues and personal experiences, the play focuses on the life of a student teacher.
